(2011-): Eldest cow and current herd boss. Hungry, demanding and loud. Mellowing with age. Assumes her responsibilities with gravity.
(2013-): Friendly, curious cow. Kind of a loner. Seeks to investigate all people and things. Likes head scratches. Kicks when fractious.
(2013-): Betty's daughter. Friendly, somnolent, torpid. Now grown vast indeed. Rarely ventures far or moves with anything even approaching speed.
(2015-): Gertrude's daughter. Placid and sleepy. A marvelous example of cowflesh. Pride of the pasture.
(2015-): Betty's daughter. A dedicated nanny to all little calves. Has grown into a great herd mellower.
(2016-): Gertrude's yearling steer. Sweet and curious. Also robust, like so many of his mother's progeny.
(2016-): Myrtle's yearling daughter. May have inherited her mother's disposition. Sticking around.
(2016-): Flapjack's yearling steer. A cheeky, curly-headed little guy.
(2015-): Murray Grey heifer. Sweet but distrustful. Odd and prancey. Lowest on the cruel ladder. Always looking for special treatment. An iconoclast.
(2016-): British White bull. Already a confident young fellow. Currently mutating the genetics of our herd. We hope he will make X-Cows.
(2017-): Salty's bull calf (steered).
(2017-): Gertrude's heifer calf.
(2017-): Prudence's heifer calf.
(2017-): Myrtle's bull calf (steered).

THEIR TAGS HAVE BEEN RETIRED
(2011-14): Gertrude’s half-sister/heifer. Domineering and slightly unhinged. Tasted fantastic.
(2012-14): Semi-hostile heifer. Went gentle into that good night.
(2013-15): LuAnne’s daughter. Spooky. Simple. Followed in her mother’s delicious footsteps.
(2013-15): Goofy acrobatic heifer. Departed with a strange willingness. Beefy.
(2014-15): Betty’s steer. Sweet-tempered, one-horned. Would have made a wonderful ox, alas. From beef we came and to beef we shall return.
(2014-15): Gertrude’s steer. Spritely, annoying and loud. Sacrificed himself for the glory of Odin.
(2008-16): Herd boss emeritus. Allowed herself to be milked at times of direst need. Grew spooky and fractious in latter days.
(2015-): Murray Grey heifer and Leche's half-sister. Sold off farm as breeding stock. May have been carrying a Tidbit spawn.
(2014-16): Our Galloway bull. Puny but virile. Sang high tenor. Often sweet; occasionally wild and dangerous. We miss him.
(2015-16): Normande/Jersey steer. Got into everything. Destroyed hoses. Interfered with nursing. Very tasty.
(2015-16): Normande/Angus/Gelbvieh steer. Shy and doe-eyed. Followed Pinto's lead with everything -- even unto death.
(2016-): Hildy's yearling daughter. Sold off farm, whereupon she promptly escaped and wandered abroad for some time before returning to new owners.
(2015-17): Hereford steer. Curly-headed. Thought he was a (friendly) bull. Tasted like a (tasty) steer.
(2015-17): Hereford steer. Had no personality whatsoever, but great intramuscular fat.
(2013-17): Gertrude's first daughter. Brutish and pushy. Built like the proverbial brick structure. Dressed at 1,091 lbs.
(2016-): British White steer. Weirdly large for his age. Placid and meaty.
(2016-): British White steer. Master of the "deer in the headlights" look. Taught all the calves to climb inside the bale feeder, damn his bovine soul.
